The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose provided new information about her daughter Bobbie’s health scare after the 14-year-old was hospitalized due to asthma.
“Bobbie is out of the ICU and recovering at home!!” Whitney, 38, shared via her Instagram Story on Thursday, October 10. “So grateful for all of your prayers and healing vibes.”
The Bravo star posted a photo of herself and Bobbie alongside the health update. “We are blessed to have such an amazing community with all of you,” she concluded.
Whitney previously asked for prayers for Bobbie via her Instagram Story on Monday, October 7.
“My beautiful community please pray for my angel daughter Bobbie Rose,” she wrote at the time. “I normally would never come on here to share something so vulnerable but we need prayers and good vibes right now. She was taken by ambulance to the ICU today for severe asthma exacerbation. Xoxo 💋.”
Whitney’s husband, Justin Rose, also shared a video of Bobbie being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher on Sunday, October 6. “Thoughts and prayers for a baby girl today,” he captioned the Instagram clip. “Struggling with her breathing.”
Whitney and Justin tied the knot in 2009 and are also the parents of son Brooks, 11. Justin has three kids from a previous marriage as well.
In April, Whitney posted a heartfelt tribute to Bobbie to mark a special occasion. “Happy birthday to Bobbie Rose. She turns 14 today! ♈️,” she captioned an Instagram photo of the mother-daughter duo. “Words that describe her: kind, beautiful, fun, smart, adventurous, resilient, talented, caring, responsible, fearless, loving, witty. My baby girl is growing up and I am so proud of her. My side kid and bestie for life.”
Three months earlier, Whitney gushed about her unique bond with Bobbie. “Have a daughter and have a best friend for life,” she wrote via Instagram in January. “I love you Bobbie Rose 🌹.”
Prior to Bobbie’s health scare, Whitney opened up exclusively to Us Weekly about her family life, revealing that her marriage to Justin was “fine” after he left his previous job.
“I think he didn’t work for a year. I got used to having him at home and I just focused on my businesses,” she told Us in September. “So the balance of work, life, kids [and] marriage had to be reset.”
Whitney insisted that the pair’s relationship “isn’t any different than anyone else’s,” elaborating, “We just share it, whether people like it or not. We’re not sharing cringey things anymore.”
She then expressed her gratitude for Justin being by her side through it all, telling Us, “Look at what he supported me through with my own family, my dad, my healing journey that just being a housewife, starting my businesses [and] my kids. I mean, he’s so supportive.”
