Kia EV4 hatchback and B-segment SUV will round out core EV line-up

Kia’s new EV4 electric hatchback will go on sale in the UK in the second half of this year and the Korean brand has confirmed a new B-segment SUV will round out its core EV line-up.

The new models have been showcased at the Kia EV Day 2025, where the brand has set out what to expect with new models in the future.

The new EV4 five-door hatchback will be built at Kia’s Slovakia plant and said the new model has been created to appeal to the “early majority” of EV buyers.

The EV4 will be capable of 391 miles of zero emissions driving and come with battery technology that can rapid charge the car from 10 to 80% in 31 minutes.

There will be a lower cost 58.3kWh standard and then 81.4kWh long-range battery version of the EV4 available when it goes on sale in the UK in the second half of this year.
