Josh and Heather Altman Call ‘Million Dollar Listing LA’ a 'Hell of a Ride’

Josh Altman and Heather Altman have nothing but fond memories of their time on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.

“What can we say!!! Million Dollar Listing LA has been a hell of a ride,” Josh, 45, and Heather, 39, captioned a joint Instagram post on Thursday, October 31. “The memories, friendships, experiences, sales, the highs, the lows and the doors it has opened we will forever be thankful for. NO REGRETS.”

They added, “Thank you all for being part of this incredible journey with our family and business for the past 15 years of our lives. What a blessing to be part of such an amazing show that started an entire genre of television. So many people to thank. And especially all of you that have been with us for the ride. WE LOVE YOU!!!!”

News broke earlier on Thursday that Josh and Heather opted to leave MDLLA after season 15, which aired on Bravo earlier this year. The couple, who got married in 2016, revealed that it was “time to start a new chapter in life” and focus on their family. Josh and Heather share daughter Lexi, 7, and son Ace, 5.

Josh Altman and Heather Altman have decided to leave Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles after a decade of selling houses on Bravo. Josh, 45, and Heather, 39, left the show after this summer’s season 15, according to multiple outlets. TMZ, which was first to break the news, further reported that the married realtors want to […]

In a video shared on Instagram, the TV realtors further detailed the emotional decision to walk away from MDLLA.

“Heather and I have decided to turn the page on Million Dollar Listing LA and move onto the next chapter of our life,” Josh said in the footage. “Since the most recent season, [season] 15, just finished airing and we are on hold for a moment here, we have decided as a couple as a family that we are going to move on from this incredible show that has been part of most of our grown-up lives [for] 15 crazy, amazing, fun-filled years.”

Josh also noted that “it’s crazy how quick” Lexi and Ace have grown up, further fueling the pair’s decision to step away from MDLLA.

“We really want to be present and it’s so difficult when you’re filming a TV show for a decade and a half, 10 months a year — every year,” he added. “And that’s not even your real business. We just need that extra time to be present with our kids because they’re the most important things to us.”

Heather, for her part, noted that she and her spouse wanted to “end on a high note.”

“I think after this past season, we felt it was the right time to step away and focus on our family and just slow down a little bit,” Heather said. “When we look back 15 years ago, I get emotional. I started when I was 22 and I turn 40 in 2025, in just a few months. I grew up on this show — as did you, but you were a little bit older.”

Heather and Josh joined MDLLA in seasons 3 and 4, respectively, which is how they met. The show follows a group of celebrity real estate agents, including Josh Flagg and Tracy Tutor, who sell luxury homes in California.

“I realized that if you use television correctly, it can be the greatest marketing tool in the world for your business,” Josh told Us Weekly exclusively in July. “And if done correctly, it can catapult your business to a whole other level that would take most people a lifetime. … I’ve used it as a benefit for our real estate business and teaching and mentoring other people and passing down what I’ve learned along the way.”

After Josh and Heather confirmed their exits, many fellow reality TV personalities shared their best wishes.

“Bravo to YOU both ⭐️,” Andy Cohen wrote via Instagram comment on Thursday.

Jason Oppenheim, another L.A.-based real estate agent who stars on Netflix’s Selling Sunset, referred to Josh and Heather as “legends” in his own social media message. “Bro you’re a legend, both of you, and Matt, congrats on MDL and basically setting the stage for the rest of us,” he wrote. “See you in the field.”
