Jason Kelce is reportedly in talks to further his relationship with The Worldwide Leader in Sports.

Kelce, 36, is having discussions with ESPN about hosting a late night show on the network, according to a Puck report published Thursday, October 24.

The outlet says the show would not be “a highlight or recap show,” but rather a vehicle for Kelce to interact with other athletes and celebrities, and would air on five consecutive Friday nights — 1 a.m. ET, technically — starting in January.

ESPN hopes the specific timing would allow for clips from the show to go viral over the weekend.

When Kelce signed his contract with ESPN to cohost Monday Night Countdown, a job he started in September, the official announcement said “further opportunities will be explored” with the former Philadelphia Eagles star.

Since announcing his retirement earlier this year after a 13-year career in the NFL, Kelce has been busy building a highly-profitable media empire.

In August, he and brother Travis Kelce signed a 9-figure deal with Wondery for their mega popular “New Heights” podcast.

“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of ‘New Heights,’” the Kelce brothers said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter at the time. “We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to ‘New Heights!’ We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership.”

Jason Kelce is having no problem balancing work and pleasure in his highly-anticipated return to Philadelphia. Hours before Kelce, 36, hit the air on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown ahead of the Eagles primetime clash with the Atlanta Falcons on Monday, September 16, the beloved former center hit up some tailgates surrounding Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field.  […]

Since making his debut on Monday Night Countdown, ESPN’s Monday Night Football pregame show, Kelce has already been busy making viral moments — from saying “tits” live on-air to showing off his dance moves in a velour tracksuit.

In a recent interview with former Buffalo Bills star Eric Wood, Kelce admitted it hasn’t been easy balancing all of his new responsibilities.

“I’m busier, but it’s inefficient,” Kelce told Wood, 38, on his “Centered on Buffalo” podcast October 18. “Because everything is kind of disconnected from one another, I’m either traveling a lot or I’m on a lot of Zoom calls. That’s one thing I miss, definitely as a player. Just going down to the facility and this is my job from 8 o’clock to 5 and I know I’m going to be really efficient with my time.”

Kelce added, “Now it’s like, ‘Hey, we have to schedule this out.’ I’m just figuring this out. It’s been a lot, but it’s been fun.”
