Gossip Girl alum Ed Westwick and his wife of two months, Amy Jackson, are expecting their first baby.
The couple announced Jackson’s pregnancy via Instagram on Wednesday, October 31.
Westwick, 37, and Jackson, 32, uploaded a carousel of stunning maternity pictures, in which the British actor held his wife’s growing baby bump while posing in a meadow. Jackson, for her part, glowed in a bump-hugging ivory slip dress.
Several of the pair’s celebrity friends celebrated Jackson’s pregnancy in the comments section.
“Oh my goodness — what a joy!!” model Daisy Lowe, who is the daughter of exes Gavin Rossdale and Pearl Lowe, wrote. “Biggest congratulations. Over the moon for you all!! Biggest love.”
Westwick’s Gossip Girl costar Kelly Rutherford, who played Chuck’s one-time stepmother, replied with two heart emojis.
Westwick and Rutherford, 55, remained close since Gossip Girl wrapped and she even gave a speech at his wedding reception earlier this year.
“I truly feel like the most grateful for our friendship and to be able to work with you was such a gift,” Rutherford, who played Lily Van Der Woodsen on the teen drama, said at the time. “And to be able to watch you fall in love … I’m going to cry. No, truly it is the most beautiful thing in life and you are such a beautiful man.”
Westwick and Jackson tied the knot in Italy in August. They captioned wedding photos, “The journey has just begun 💍.”
The pair started dating two years earlier.
“We were invited separately to a race day with Aston Martin at Silverstone racetrack in 2021. I was there with a friend who knew her,” Westwick recalled to Hello! in October 2023. “I saw her and thought, ‘I’m going to make my move!’ We chatted for a bit, and I asked her if she wanted to meet me for a coffee.”
He continued, “We had a wonderful day and she beat me. Her lap time was a lot better than mine! She’s been making my heart race from day one! At the time, she was looking to move to Hampstead in London and I was also looking there at the time. I promise! She moved and I moved shortly afterwards to my own place there but very close to each other. She’s lovely, and a fierce girl.”
At the time, Westwick hinted that marriage and children were “100 percent” in the cards for himself and Jackson.
“I grew up in a wonderful household where my mum and dad were married. My parents loved each other fiercely right up to the end,” Westwick recalled to the outlet. “I idolized them and their relationship.”
Westwick’s father and mother died in 2013 and 2022, respectively.
“[My mother] is still with us. I hate the fact that I can’t talk to her anymore,” he said. “My brother told me to talk to her. I don’t though. But I like to think about the little things. I remember her hands or her shoulders, which I’d touch. I have her voice notes and clips of videos of her. I miss her enormously but I try to think about the future to stay positive, like marriage and kids and all of that.”
