The Eugene Police Department urged motorists to avoid 11th Avenue at Willamette Street late Thursday following a collision that closed the roadway.The advisory was issued shortly after 5 p.m. as a public service by the Central Lane 9-1-1 Communications Center, which handles emergency call intake for the central Lane County area. The closure lasted for several hours, with officials announcing at about 8:30 p.m. that the road had reopened.
