Bristol Street Motors has unveiled its newest dealership in Plymouth following an £820,000 investment to help strengthen its footprint in the Southwest and enhance customer service in the region.
The new Renault and Dacia dealership showcases the brands’ latest identity whose aesthetic includes a minimalist logotype inspired by mechanical elements like gears and chains.
The dealership is set to create 10 jobs initially over the next 12 months, with recruitment already underway for roles such as vehicle technician and parts advisor.
This opening adds to Vertu Motors’ ongoing investment in the Southwest, which includes the recent acquisition of Rowes Garages dealerships in Plymouth, Plymstock, and Truro. The Plymouth site brings Vertu’s total dealership count in the region to 35.
Robert Forrester, CEO of Bristol Street Motors, said: “The opening of this new dealership is a testament to our ongoing commitment to the south west, following several acquisitions and investments in the region. We are excited to bring more job opportunities to the area and to provide our customers with a state-of-the-art facility for their Renault and Dacia needs.
“This latest site has not only expanded our footprint but has also allowed us to better serve our customers with a wider range of vehicles. We look forward to building on our success and further strengthening our presence in the region.”
Darren Goble, CMA general manager, commenting on the development, said: “I am incredibly excited to be at the wheel as we expand our presence in the region with this outstanding dealership. It looks fantastic, and the ideal setting to display the latest vehicles entering the market. Modern cars require a modern dealership, and this one is exceptional, with a fresh take on branding and customer experience.”
