Motor Marketing Group makes acquisition to expand digital services

Automotive specialist Motor Marketing Group has completed the acquisition of Motor Socials to expand its services for dealer groups.

The Portsmouth-based company, which marked its 10th anniversary last year, said the deal brings together two dynamic companies with complementary expertise.

Director and co-founder Shevani Wilson said the company was attracted to Motor Socials by its a deep understanding of social media strategy, content creation and audience engagement.

“We are thrilled to welcome the talented team at Motor Socials to the Motor Marketing family,” she said.

“This acquisition strengthens our position in the digital marketing landscape, particularly in social media. By combining our resources and expertise, we will provide our clients with a more robust offering, helping them reach their goals faster and more effectively.”

Motor Socials operates from an office in London. Its founder Heidi May-Khalil said it is exciting opportunity for the business and its clients.

She added: “By combining our strengths, we will be able to offer a broader range of services, from digital strategy and content creation to social media management and paid advertising. The automotive industry is evolving rapidly, and this partnership will ensure we remain at the forefront of that change.”

The acquisition is effective immediately, and both companies will continue to operate under their respective brands under the Motor Marketing Group umbrella company. The combined teams will work closely to deliver a unified, enhanced experience for clients, Wilson said.

Motor Marketing provides marketing agency and contact centre services to motor retailers, helping dealers and automotive brands enhance their digital presence, engage their audience, and achieve measurable business growth through targeted campaigns, content marketing, and more. Since its inception it was worked with dealers representing numerous brands, including BMW, Porsche and VW Group.

Business Growth Institute (BGI), a financial and strategic consultancy firm specialising in value creation, corporate structuring, acquisitions and exit planning, advised Motor Marketing Group on the acquisition.
