After Gleb Savchenko revealed he was extremely fond of his Dancing With the Stars partner Brooks Nader, he has shared even deeper feelings for her.
At the end of the ABC show’s Tuesday, October 15, Dedication Night episode, which saw the end of Savchenko, 41, and Nader’s time in the ballroom, the swimsuit model, 28, thanked Savchenko for guiding her through the 33rd season.
“It’s been amazing and we had so much fun,” she told the show’s cohosts, Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough.
Nader’s moment of acknowledgment sparked a gushing tribute from Savchenko, who then turned to Nader and said, “I want to thank you for an amazing season, it was so unexpected. I had a blast working with you. You are super talented and I love you.”
Savchenko’s candid words followed the praise he offered Nadar during the Tuesday episode of Harry Jowsey’s “Boyfriend Material” podcast. “We get along very well, and she’s the one that started this whole thing, like, ‘Let’s do TikToks.’ She’s so good with this,” Savchenko said.
When pressed by Jowsey, 27, on if he was in love with Nader, Savchenko responded with, “I don’t know, maybe.”
In a pre-recorded video of Nader and Savchenko preparing for their Tuesday night salsa routine that aired during the episode, which saw them hit the floor to the tune of “Mi Gente” by J Balvin and Willy William, Nader dedicated the duo’s dance to her sisters who provided invaluable support during her “really hard divorce” from ex-husband Billy Haire, which she announced in May.
The video package showed Nader’s sisters dancing with the eliminated couple before they were asked whether they approve of Savchenko being part of Nader’s life. “Approval for a boyfriend? For our stamp of approval, they have to win,” the sisters told the cameras. One of the siblings later shared with Nader, “I see why you like him, Brooksie.”
Last month, a source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly that Nader and Savchenko were “hooking up.”
“It’s casual for now, and they’re both just having fun,” the insider said at the time. “Brooks and Gleb have been very flirtatious from the beginning of rehearsals. They aren’t dating, but they’re enjoying spending time together and getting to know each other.”
Nader herself told Us on October 9 that she felt “instant connection and chemistry” with the Russian-born DWTS pro, who recently got a “matching” tattoo with her. “We don’t get to pick our partners, so we have no idea until we meet them that first day who it is. It was definitely a sign from some universe that I got paired with Gleb,” she said at the time.
Dancing With the Stars airs simultaneously on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET. You can stream episodes on Disney+ the next day.
